Governance & Regulatory
The Committee will call upon its creativity and experience to support the BOD with the coordination of policy development related to Board governance: recruitment, conflict of interest, orientation and training, risk management, privacy, volunteer involvement, board self assessment, and etc. In addition the Committee will provide guidance to the board in developing transition policy and procedures.

International Advisory Council (IAC)
VPIA's primary purpose in establishing an International Advisory Council is twofold:
As a vehicle for disseminating VPIA information, guidance, and assistance to the diverse regions of the world.
To acquire feedback from those same diverse regions and to channel it back to VPIA for review and consideration.
The International Advisory Council is appointed by the VPIA Board and functions under the guidance of a Chairperson appointed from among the sitting members of the Board of Directors. The Chairperson also functions as Liaison between the Board and the Council.

Marketing & Communications Committee
The mission and purpose of the Marketing & Communications Committee is to advance the orderly and open communications of the global Virtues Project™ community, formulate communications policies that encourage such advancement, and manage the communications systems that support same. The Communications Committee is responsible for managing the structure and delivery of communications throughout the worldwide community, including those of the Board itself... in a way that balances both open exchange and purposeful results.

Mentoring Committee
The purpose of the VPIA mentoring program committee is to provide support, encouragement and opportunities for deepening and connection within The Virtues ProjectTM global community of facilitators and master facilitators.

Operations Committee
The Operations Committee shall be responsible for managing the operations which support VPIA, its BOD and its Committees. It will carry out specific objectives in pursuit of the overall goals defined in the policies and strategic plans of the Association. The Operations Committee Chair will put infrastructure in place that enables committees and Board members to achieve their objectives. This includes standardization of processes and procedures, organization of corporate information, and website content and organization.

Research Committee
The Committee will support the BOD with moving forward the VPIA strategic research related objectives: development of a VPIA research plan, establishment of key research partnerships, development of ways to share research results with the global virtues community, identification and promotion of research funding opportunities, coordination of VPIA sponsored research projects and applying for research grants.

Technology Committee
The Technology Committee is formed to help the VPIA BOD grow and scale its operations, enhance membership experience and facilitate communities of members through process and technology infrastructure improvements. In conjunction with other Committees, it selects new projects and enhancements, prepares specifications and budgets. Through project facilitation and management, it assures successful implementation of projects.

Trauma Healing Program Committee
With purposefulness, this committee will build worldwide capacity to deliver sustainable community based VPIA Trauma Healing Circles in respectful partnership with existing individual and collective community cultures & strengths in response to distressing traumatic events of a national, regional, community and/or individual nature.
