Introductory workshops are available on many virtues-related topics. They vary in length, from a one hour presentation at a Parent Teacher meeting, a half day in-service for teachers or corporate staff, to a two day Introduction to The Virtues Project suitable for people of all backgrounds and areas of interest. We also offer workshop Intensives that focus on particular themes or topics and run for several days. INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOPS

Workshops of a half-day to two days are available on several topics. Examples are:
Awakening the Virtues Within: Introduction to The Virtues Project - for all audiences (A prerequisite for Facilitator Training)
The Virtues Project: Bringing Out the Best in Our Children and Ourselves - for parents and grandparents
The Virtues Project: Creating a Culture of Character in Our Schools - for educators, counsellors, parents and students
From Violence to Virtues: Creating a Culture of Caring in Our Schools and Communities - for educators, parents, youth, community members
Inspiring Leadership - for managers and staff of organizations and communities
Lead an Inspired Life - for school leadership conferences and personal growth events

Awakening the Virtues Within: Introduction to The Virtues Projecttm This two-day workshop, which is a pre-requisite for Facilitator Training, includes Tools for Personal Growth:

- Learn the Language of Virtues to bring out the best in
  ourselves and others
- Heal and deepen our personal relationships
- Replace shaming thinking and speaking with
  new empowering habits
- Recognize Teachable Moments as gifts for our growth
- Set clear boundaries for healthy lives
- Simple practices for daily routines of reverence
- The Art of Spiritual Companioning tm - helping ourselves and
  others to respond effectively to grief, loss, and moral choices.

Tools for Professional Growth as parent, teacher, caregiver, student or leader:

- Receive 10 ways to set clear boundaries for discipline with dignity
- Learn of 52 timeless virtues honoured by all cultures
  and sacred traditions
- Learn proven methods for creating cultural change
- Learn ways to transform bully behavior
- Hear success stories of schools and communities around the world
- Learn the skill of Spiritual Companioning, a powerful counselling
  tool for discernment, conflict resolution, healing grief
  and abuse, and suicide prevention.

INTENSIVES

Virtues Intensives are in-depth workshops of two or more days that focus on a particular theme or topic. They may be given over several consecutive days or spaced over a period of weeks or months. They are often designed for a specific group or community. They involve sharing circles, personal reflection experiences, team building exercises and in-depth practice of the Virtues Strategies, which touch the heart and stimulate the mind. They have a powerful unifying effect for a team in need of revitalization or a community seeking restoration and inspiration.

Examples are:
- A parenting course given twice a week for three months
- A five day course on Mentorship given over a three month period
- A ten-day Integrated Community Development Program for
  community members, including a five-day Facilitator Training,
  for a community seeking healing and inspiration after a health epidemic
- A Virtues Project Facilitator Training given over Five Days
- A three-week training for First Nations community health; workers
  in palliative care, parenting skills, and counselling.
- A deepening program for Facilitators focusing on applying the
  Five Strategies in their lives and their work
